 Jazz Band at Jackson Browne's StudioThe Jazz Band is laying down tracks for their new album at Jackson Browne's recording studio. Pop singer Aloe Blacc will be doing the vocals on three of the tracks and Saxophonist Kamasi Washington will be doing the sax solo on a fourth track. |

 Guest Lecture by JB Dyas, PhDJB Dyas, PhD, Vice President, Education and Curriculum Development, Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz at UCLA, conducted a great 3-hour class for the Jazz Band on Jan 22, 2019. He taught music theory and the strategy for obtaining music scholarships. As a result, three of our kids were selected to join the L.A.
